day 32: legacy
"He wasn't my favourite. He just stayed in his room all day."
"That's really sad. I feel sorry for his family."
"Y'know, he had that condition. Maybe it was for the best. He isn't suffering anymore."
I want to be remembered for more than this. In part, I think this is why I want to achieve something great. Something so great that it would eclipse me, the person. Something that can outlast me, the person.
But, the chances are slim to do anything truly outstanding in this lifetime. These one-liners will most likely be my legacy.
